Patterns in Nature

Patterns in Nature takes a look at gardens and forests, wonderful themes for artists to explore as they are places of beauty and colour, and places that bear witness to the seasons and time passing. The range of work here plays with line, colour and repetition to create semi-abstract, lyrical landscapes. The contrasting palettes and compositions, and different textures, reflect nature in its various guises – places of wonder, enticement, and enchantment, as well as fear, mystery and foreboding.
